Chris blends hands-on physical therapy and massage techniques to provide a truly healing massage therapy session
As a Physical Therapist of over 30 years, he’s worked in orthopedic settings mostly in the Military, DOD and Dept of Veterans Affairs.
He has advanced training in major manual therapy methods including: Barnes myofascial Release, Strain counter strain, PMM at Michigan State University, and in renowned NZ/ spinal methods including Maitland, McKenzie, McConnell, and Paris at St Augustine. Chris is cerified in IDN DRY needling.
“I always considered myself a manually physical therapist … and have been fortunate enough to attend training in most major methods today,” Chris said. “Having alot of different tools helps tailor massage to a persons particular issues and offer more to their overall well being”.
After finishing a massage, Chris usually offers advice on ergonomics and/ or tailored exercises clients can do at home.
Chris is a licensed in PT and earned his BS degree from The State University of New York (SUNY) in Buffalo in 1994. Chris was certified in Swedish massage after graduating from Emerald Coast Massage School, Fort Walton Beach, FL in 2004
